On your Roku streaming device, you’ll want to go to the Channels store. Scroll down the list on the left-hand side of the Roku home page.
Select Streaming Channels.
Next, scroll down to “Search Channels” and enter Plex in the search bar.
Press the “Yes, Add Channel” button.
You’ll now see that Roku is adding the Plex channel to your Roku device. After it’s finished adding Plex, you’ll see a notification on your screen. And it will let you know that Plex has been added to the end of your Roku home page.
Now go back to your Roku home by pressing the button on your remote that resembles a house or go to Channel.
If you don’t see the Plex channel at the bottom of the Roku home page then go to ‘Settings > System > System Update’ from the Roku home page.
Choose “Check Now” to (force) update the channels on your Roku.
Then go to your Plex channel and open it.
The first time you open the Plex channel on your Roku, you will need to Sign in using the Username and Password you just created in your invitation email.
After clicking the Sign in on your TV Screen with your Roku remote, you will be shown directions to visit a link.
Use any computer/mobile device that you are already signed into Plex with and type in the link into your browser as directed.
Enter the code that’s shown to you on your TV screen into the page that comes up on your computer/mobile device from the link.
The page should tell you that your Roku is now linked to your Plex account.
